No server in between like other Apps do - pure and directly.*

The new Workflow feature lets you combine the scanned barcode with texts, control chars, and user input.

With the built-in WebScan feature you can launch any website you like and scan instantly into form fields - directly in iCody. This even works with secured (https) and websites that needs login. WebScan is a great solution for your professional use with your own in-house website e.g. for your warehousing.

For more specific needs use the new HTTP POST transmission mode: Barcodes will be send by HTTP POST to your server and iCody even waits and presents a feedback if you want to.

The included callback functionality lets iCody interact with other applications and websites using the icody:// URL scheme. So you could set up a Filemaker GO database and use iCody as an external scanner - also in combination with Linea Pro or Mobilogics.

Even offline without any connected computer iCody works. The scanned barcodes are saved and later can be transmitted, used in WebScan or callback, exported via iTunes, or emailed - one, some, all. This is best practice for doing batch scanning of a big number of Barcodes: Scan all barcodes – anywhere and anytime – and send them to the computer whenever you want and however you like.

Doesnt work, the app crashes immediately every time it tries to send to a VNC destination. Useless, 10 dollars on the thrash

Why waste your money on other hardware when you can do every thing with your iPhone. Honestly this is unbelievably fast bar code scanning, great to shoot via wifi to you Mac or just to keep locally. Since I will be using this for class attendance, I would like the ability to save as groups. Tried on iPhone 3GS good, iPhone 4 awesome. Great job!!!

This app is amazingly fast and supper accurate. I use iCody with my inventory and sales programs.

This app is truly magical. I used a regular laser scanner for many years and can say that this app can be as fast or even faster than the standard scanner. Great work guys!

Easy to test printed barcodes for readability. Very flexible.

Once the option for custom url was added, this app became worth the price and then some. Excellent work guys, have been waiting for an app like this for awhile now. Adding the javascript location functions(havent tried or used, YET!), opens a lot of possibilities for developers with even a little of their own imagination. If your looking for basic scanner(doesnt work the greatest on the iPad, but its the camera they put on the iPad that makes it difficult to work with) that can scan into web forms, look no further, this is it.

Some bad moments

Unfortunately the brazilian bills arent recognized. Although it supports the standard interleaved 2 of 5.

I have the newest iPhone4 and updated iPhone software. This App does not work! It crashes when the user attempts to read the barcode which has just been photographed. I cannot recommend this App!

Does not read good as other free wifi scanner. Only can scan in to its own built in browser, to many extra step to get raw data to other apps. There are similar app out there with similar future for free. Actually I want my money back, how do we go about that. You can remove my rating than.

Its been over half a year since iOS 9 came out and the app still crashes when "auto close after scan" is set to on. Submitting several bug reports hasnt helped. It shouldnt be left available for purchase if its no longer being supported.

Good product but it asked me to rate it every time I switch between apps. PIN lock is also unavailable at least on iOS 7

This App doesnt work with with Applles latest iOS. The vendor doesnt respond to any iquries. Do NOT purchase this App, it is a waste to of your money and time.
